Rushing around before evening shift, paying bills, collecting lottery tickets and dropping work off at the Ferens. Picking up food at M&S, cannot avoid the temptation of sushi and wraps for weekend pack up, yum. They’ve rearranged the food department yet again; it’s great to see everybody walk about in utter bewilderment, obviously failing to find anything, wandering in a complete daze. Joined a queue and queued and guess what the gal on the till had cerebral palsy, she apologized to everyone for the wait and I struck up a conversation about the weather about to break and best place to be was stuck in a queue type of thing but how great is that, how brave is that, how life affirming is that, I shall join her queue no matter how long, from now on.
