Free-range chicken is VERY expensive. Builders who are laying a concrete base for the porch are giving me cause for concern; even I know a base layer should be builder’s bricks, usually a more solid brick and a different colour! They’ve been given tea and biscuits for gods sake they should do a good job; I’m paying a kings ransom for a plastic porch from hell!
